On particularly large floors it becomes possible to lay a tile pattern.This stone floor is layed in a Grand Villa Roman Opus tiled pattern that consists of 4 different sized tiles. Essentially a tiler will use different quantities of the 4 different tiles over the same floor area to repetitively create a pattern.
This particular property was a lovely large Country period property that suited this contemporary stone floor design perfectly.
